At Discovery Network, I oversaw the projects ensuring outstanding creative content solutions from concept to execution. Work covered CG, 2D/ 3D animations, motion graphics and live- action.

Key contributions: Creative producer for projects including Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Travel and Living, Investigation Discovery, and Discovery Turbo, plus social media brand promotion. 

  • I brought ideas to life, crafting and influencing the creative, driving the team to deliver the innovative, ambitious, integrated output and ensuring the quality of work, and oversee the production process.

  • Day-to-day, I was responsible for Ideating and allocating workload, scheduling, briefing studios, and controlling the external workflows ensuring a clear exchange of information and documentation across different studios.

  • My role involved leading, managing, and motivating cross-functional teams, plus monitoring studio performance, production team and deliverables.

  • I also quoted and pitched new ideas and acted as the principal link and led conversations between the production team and marketing team.

  • I devised and executed strategies for band identity and show’s promotion, always working closely with marketing team and providing key support to the production team.

PROCESS

  • Brief - This was the first step of research, where I watched the show to understand the subject and read the brief.

  • Research - The next step was researching the subject, medium, and other creatives

  • Ideate - During this step I worked on 2-3 ideas and shared them with the team.

  • Iterate - Once receiving the feed back from the team, one Idea would be finalized and iterations were made.

  • Pitch - The idea was then pitched to the marketing team and received their feedback.

  • Iterate - This was the last step before the production of the promos, where final changes were made.

  • Production / Launch - The production process would involve working with studios and designers to create a promotion of 20 - 60 seconder in 12-15 days.
